The Spectra-Tech Foundation Endurance is a single-reflection ATR accessory that utilizes a composite diamond crystal sampling surface with a ZnSe focusing element. Measurements are performed by placing the sample in contact with the diamond crystal, which protrudes slightly above the sampling plate. Since the sampling surface is small, very little material is required. Cleanup is accomplished by simply wiping the sample area with standard laboratory tissue. Total analysis time, including sample loading, analysis and cleanup is less than two minutes. The Spectra-Tech Foundation Endurance diamond offers the ultimate in chemical resistivity.
